Completion of the Third Cleavage Division
The formation of the third cleavage plane has led to the creation of the animal and vegetal compartments of the egg. These compartments markedly differ in size. The close junction of the apically disposed cells separates the content of the blastocoel cavity from the surrounging fluid.
