A: At this stage, the ear vesicle is being formed from the sensorial layer of the epidermis in the rhombencephalic region of the head.
B: At this stage the lens is being formed from the sensorial layer of the epidermis and the retina begins to bend inward. The invagination of the eye brings the retinal and pigment layers of the prospective retina together.
