Clinical summary: 34 year old male with a history of testicular tumor.

Figure legend:

Operative procedure: Resection of the intra-aorta caval mass.
Tumor location: Mediastinum.
Tumor size: 9.5 x 5 x 3.7 cm.
Tumor characteristics: Ovoid nodule with multiloculated cysts. No immature elements were seen. However, in view of their location and the history of embryonal carcinoma, the lesions were considered to be metastatic.
