WIPE OFF YOUR WEB TRAILS

Each time you use the Web, the trail of where you have visited will remain on your computer. This is obvious, if you have intentionally stored the URL within your "bookmarks". However, the trace of your Web visits is also stored in "temporary files" and "cache directories" as well as the "Windows registry". In addition, some sites will place a "cookie" within your system so that next time your visit the site, you can be remembered. Both the "Netscape" and "Microsoft" give you a limited range of options to clean these trails. You can clean the "disk cache" and "memory cache" in the "Network Preferences" in "Netscape" browser. If you are using the "Internet Explorer", a program called "Tweak UI" which is available at "http://www.microsoftcom" deletes the trail of visited URLs, however, the Windows registry remains intact. If you wish to clean all traces of your visited URL sites, then use the "NSClean Privacy Software". This program will remove all the bookmarks, cache directories, history files and refuses accepting cookies. This program is available at "http://www.wizvax.net, 800-282-5887". If you are using the "Internet Explorer", you can also use the "IEClean" which works similarly to the "NSClean Privacy Software".
