Prominent stromal granulocytes
Stromal granulocytes are large granular lymphocytes (LGL) and bear features similar to NK cells. This includes electron-dense granules similar to those found in LGL cells (top; ultrastructural appearance of the granules of the stromal granulocytes).
Stromal granulocytes stain positive for UCHL-1 which is a marker of T cells (bottom).
