Over the past decade, extensive collaboration of Frontiers in Bioscience with a dedicated group of scientists who have acted as managing editors along with a large number of enthusiastic and well known investigators who have authored manuscripts has resulted in the creation of "Encyclopedia of Bioscience" and a true community of science. This collection of manuscripts is treasured by the entire scientific community. However, the value of this Encyclopedia can be maintained only if its content can be kept up-to-date by active participation of Frontiers in Bioscience and its team of managing editors and authors.

Frontiers in Bioscience mission is to continue providing full support for this initiative, insure publication of manuscripts, and establish funding support for offering this wealth of knowledge to its active managing editors and authors as detailed below. Moreover, FBS will continue to create tools and platforms which will promote scientific collaboration.
